Job summary

Spring Independent School District is seeking a Bilingual Elementary Teacher for the ACE Campus, located at Ponderosa Elementary. This role requires a Texas teaching certificate with bilingual endorsement and experience in English/Spanish instruction.

Stipends include bilingual and ACE allowances, with salary based on district scales. The ACE position emphasizes data-driven instruction, close collaboration with campus leadership, ongoing coaching, and a focus on rapid student achievement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area assignment.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with Bilingual Education endorsement.
• Reading Academy completion or STR certification per state requirements.
• Two or more years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Experience with diverse student populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement high-quality, standards-aligned instruction to accelerate student learning.
• Plan and deliver lessons with differentiation and student engagement.
• Use a variety of instructional media and teaching techniques to meet student needs.
• Set clear learning objectives and monitor progress toward mastery.
• Participate in professional learning communities and instructional planning sessions.
• Provide instruction in English and Spanish as required by bilingual program.
• Collaborate with campus leadership and instructional coaches to improve outcomes.
