Job summary

Paycom is seeking a hotel server with experience in fine dining to deliver courteous guest service and support beverage service. The role requires familiarity with all menus, knowledge of daily specials, and upsell opportunities.

You will set up stations, assist bussers, polish glassware, and maintain grooming and safety standards. Applicants should be fluent in English, able to greet guests by surname when available, and have a basic understanding of hotel operations to direct guests as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in fine dining service.
• Must be familiar with all hotel menus.
• Knowledge of daily specials and upsell opportunities.
• Knowledge of beverage offerings.
• Station setup and breakdown/side-work.
• Assist bussers with service or clearing of tables as needed.
• Polish and clean water glasses in assigned station.
• Complete required Z certification for New Hires (30 days), and recertification as required.
• Follow all proper hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wait on guests promptly and courteously.
• Serve guests according to hotel standards and menus.
• Assist with side-work and station setup/breakdown.
• Support bussers and clear tables as needed.
• Greet guests with a smile and use surnames when available.
• Maintain general hotel knowledge to assist guests with directions.
• Adhere to grooming guidelines and wear required uniform and Z-pin.
• Ensure water glasses are polished and clean before service.
