Job summary

The GEMÜ Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Electropolisher to join our production team. You will perform electropolishing on stainless-steel components to achieve required surface finish, cleanliness, and corrosion resistance standards.

This position plays a key role in ensuring our products meet engineering specifications and customer quality expectations. The role emphasizes adherence to specifications and safety, with a second shift schedule (2pm-11pm).

Qualifications

1+ year of electropolishing or chrome/nickel plating experience.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate electropolishing equipment for stainless-steel components.
Adjust process parameters including voltage, current, temperature, and cycle time.
Rack and fixture parts properly to ensure uniform polishing and prevent defects.
Monitor polishing cycles and adjust to maintain consistent results.
Inspect parts before, during, and after processing for surface finish and specs.
Identify nonconforming parts and escalate concerns per quality procedures.
Maintain tanks, power supplies, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
Monitor chemical concentrations and ensure safe handling and disposal.
