You will read work instructions and drawings in English, operate polishing equipment, document results, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Evening/second shift availability is required, with potential for occasional early hours or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience in a production environment or on machinery.
• Mechanical polishing, buffing, grinding, or metal finishing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings in English.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Experience with stainless steel components is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Polish stainless-steel parts to customer specifications.
• Select belts, wheels, compounds, and equipment settings for each finish.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Inspect parts before/during/after polishing for conformance.
• Escalate nonconforming parts per quality procedures.
• Maintain polishing equipment and document production activities.
• Keep a clean, safe workspace and follow PPE protocols.
