Job summary

GEMÜ USA is seeking a detail-oriented Electropolisher to join our production team. You will set up and operate electropolishing equipment on stainless-steel components to meet surface finish, cleanliness, and corrosion resistance specifications.

The role requires reading and interpreting work instructions and drawings, with 1+ year of related experience and basic computer skills. Second shift availability may be required, and a safety-focused, continuous improvement mindset is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year of electropolishing or chrome/nickel plating experience.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Experience with stainless steel components is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate electropolishing equipment for stainless-steel components.
Adjust process parameters including voltage, current, temperature, and cycle time.
Rack and fixture parts properly to ensure uniform polishing and prevent defects.
Monitor polishing cycles and make adjustments to maintain consistent, repeatable results.
Inspect parts before, during, and after processing to verify surface finish and conformance to specifications.
Identify nonconforming parts and elevate concerns per quality procedures.
Maintain tanks, power supplies, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
Monitor chemical concentrations and ensure safe handling and disposal according to standards.
Accurately document production activities and inspection results.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
