Job summary

GEMÜ Group is seeking a detail-oriented Electropolisher to join our Atlanta production team. You will perform electropolishing on stainless-steel components to achieve specified surface finishes, cleanliness, and corrosion resistance, contributing to engineering standards and customer quality expectations.

The role requires 1+ year in production, basic reading of technical drawings, and a willingness to work a second shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a production environment / operating machines.
• Electropolishing or Chrome / Nickel Plating preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Experience working with stainless steel components is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate electropolishing equipment for stainless-steel components.
• Select and adjust process parameters including voltage, current, temperature, and cycle time.
• Rack and fixture parts properly to ensure uniform polishing and prevent defects.
• Monitor polishing cycles and make adjustments to maintain consistent, repeatable results.
• Inspect parts before, during, and after processing to verify surface finish and conformance to specifications.
• Identify nonconforming parts and elevate concerns per quality procedures.
• Maintain tanks, power supplies, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
• Monitor chemical concentrations and ensure safe handling and disposal according to environmental and safety standards.
• Accurately document production activities and inspection results.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Other duties, as required.

Work Schedule:

Available to work second shift (2pm-11pm).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in a production environment / operating machines
• Electropolishing or Chrome / Nickle Plating preferred
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.
• Experience working with stainless steel components is preferred.
