Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform electropolishing and passivation work following work instructions to ensure high-quality, efficiently produced products. Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION
  • Complete electropolishing and passivation work in accordance with work instructions to ensure a quality product is efficiently produced.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Follows documented procedure for generating assigned production work daily.
  • Ensures electropolishing and passivation processes (quality, safety) are adhered to and not compromised.
  • Identifies non-conforming product based on visual and/or dimensional inspection criteria
  • Swiftly communicates quality and quantity issues to supervisors and/or co-workers
  • Manually pre-cleans parts
  • Documents in-process inspection results
  • Control and monitor rectifier process time
  • Monitors and take appropriate timely improvement action to meet quality and quantity expectations
  • Monitors equipment to ensure that it is in proper working order. Recommends maintenance and repair if required.
  • Transports in-process work between departments.
  • Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards as required by law and company policy.
  • Comply with ISO policies and procedures
  • Ensure all procedures and policies are followed and safety precautions are taken to reduce risk and injury.
  • Wear required PPE as required.
OCCASSIONAL DUTIES
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
SKILLS
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Special attention to detail is required.

Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly

Currency: USD

Salary Minimum: 35,000

Salary Maximum: 40,000
