Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follows customer service schedule and assist customer service when requested.
• Determines plating parameters (time, current) per standard procedures.
• Visually inspects parts during cleaning and rinse stages.
• Dries, inspects, and packs plated parts per specs.
• Performs thickness and adhesion tests and documents results.
• Keeps work area clean and safe; follows safety rules.
• Fills out daily preventive maintenance check sheets.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance as needed.
• Operates Stand Up Forklift.

Responsible for determining size, composition, plating process and thickness for materials from the customer order form. Must maintain production and quality standards. Must conform to all safety rules. Must maintain documentation as required. Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or lead person.

Responsible for determining size, composition, plating process and thickness for materials from the customer order form. Must maintain production and quality standards. Must conform to all safety rules. Must maintain documentation as required. Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or lead person.

Job Duties Include (but Not Limited To)

• Follows customer service schedule and assist customer service when requested.
• Determines amount of time and electrical current to be applied to parts during plating process in accordance with standard manufacturing procedures.
• Visually inspects parts through cleaning process and post plate rinsing process.
• Dries, inspects and package plated parts in according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Performs thickness and adhesion test and documents as required.
• Keeps floors, stands, tanks, racks and immediate work area clean and free of clutter and debris.
• Follows all safety rules.
• Fills out daily preventative maintenance check sheets. Documents existing problems on proper forms.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance as needed.
• Operates Stand Up Forklift

Minimum Job Requirements (but Not Limited To)
