Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an experienced RN-EP to join the electrophysiology lab for a 13-week contract. You will provide sedation, medication administration, and patient monitoring during complex cardiac procedures in a high-volume setting.

The role requires RN licensure with BLS/ACLS, and allows for scrubbing if trained. Expect 10-hour day shifts, on-site work, and a focus on patient safety with a teaching hospital environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience; 2 years preferred in EP lab or critical care.
• BLS and ACLS required for RN; cardiac cath tech certs preferred for related roles.
• Electrophysiology lab experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Sedation duties; RN may circulate and monitor; scrub if trained.
• Assist with procedures, monitor equipment and patient safety.
• Work 10-hour day shifts, 4 days/week; 13-week contract in Winston-Salem.

RN-Registered Nurse // Electrophysiology Lab $1,267 weekly stipends $40 - $42/hour $1,600.0 - $1,680 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 10/26/2026 13 weeks

Clinical Interviewing: Yes - Manager to conduct final interview

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend Rotation: Will work 3-4 Saturdays in 8-10 weeks – No currently working Saturdays (but should be open); Late Days 3-5 per month sign up (finish cases if needed); 10-hour shifts x 4 days M-F

Holiday Requirements: Closed on Select Holidays

• 885 licensed beds
• Level 1 Trauma Designation
• Teaching Hospital: Yes, Academic Medical Center
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center

Department Information:

• 5 OR's
• Census: Average patients/day: 20-25 pts per day

Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year required; 2 years preferred

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes, but not preferred.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Cardiac Caths, Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, Clips, Peds (as young as days old – PFO etc.) and others

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

• RN: BLS, ACLS
• Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ARRT-R or RCIS

Skills required:

• RN: Sedation; Nurses will circulate, and monitor. RN is responsible for medication administration.
  • If RN is trained and proficient to scrub cases, that is a bonus but not required at this time.
• Cardiac Cath Tech: do not give medications but will scrub, circulate and monitor

• Assistant Clinical Manager (RN)

• Anesthesia/CRNA team

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC, Cupid, Sensis
• Department specific Equipment: All Siemens x-ray systems

• Standard Med Center Orientation
• 2 weeks or less orientation in the CCL to the lab and surroundings
