Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks an Electrophysiology R&D Engineering Intern in Saint Paul, MN. You will design, fabricate, and test prototype medical devices, analyze clinical data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address clinical feedback.

You will work on-site, with opportunities for mentorship and hands-on experience in a Fortune 500 medical device company. Eligible students will be pursuing Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering and be graduating 2027–2029.

Qualifications

• Must graduate between Fall 2027 and Spring 2029.
• Bachelor or graduate degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or related engineering with BIOM/ME emphasis).
• Must be able to commit to one of the internship periods: May 17–Aug 6 or May 24–Aug 13.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Reliable transportation to Arden Hills, MN.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and test prototype devices addressing clinical feedback.
• Analyze large clinical databases to inform device design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on EP projects.
• Gain exposure to live clinical procedures and testing methods.
