Job summary

Advocate Health – Elgin, Illinois is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to join our EP Cardiology team. This role centers on outpatient management, device follow-ups, and delivering high-quality cardiovascular care in a collaborative environment.

The EP NP will manage an independent patient panel, provide follow-up visits, and work closely with 2 EP physicians and 5 APPs to expand access to specialized EP services.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Electrophysiology experience.
• Ability to manage an independent patient panel within EP practice.
• Provide outpatient follow-up care and device clinic evaluations.
• Collaborate with a team of EP specialists and APPs.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients and determine treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and therapies.
• Provide health promotion and disease management counseling.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EMR and ensure compliant coding.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
