Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, EP/Device clinic or 5+ years cardiovascular.
• Proficient in interpretation of EKG/cardiac rhythms/arrhythmias.
• Current RN license in the State of Illinois.
• CPR certification required; ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education on heart pacing and device care.
• Administer medications per policy and monitor responses.
• Manage care for patients with pacemakers and ICDs.
• Perform device interrogations and reprogramming as scheduled in clinic.
• Document care accurately in EMR within two days.
