Job summary

Abbott in Minnetonka is seeking an Operator I in the Electrophysiology (EP) division. You will perform routine assembly operations under supervision, ensure accurate traveler and quality records, and actively participate in safety and quality improvements.

The role requires following procedures, communicating clearly, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Shift is Monday–Thursday, 3:45pm–2:00am with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, comprehend and follow written procedures.
• Must follow verbal instructions and communicate clearly with team members.
• Maintain accurate records and traveler/quality documents.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations under supervision.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date; troubleshoot as needed.
• Communicate issues and solutions to manufacturing management, both written and oral.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives and maintain equipment; perform basic preventive maintenance.
