El Camino Health Cardiovascular Specialists invites applications for a Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a growing EP program in Silicon Valley. You will work within a broader, well-established cardiovascular group with strong institutional support.

The position offers mentorship from an experienced EP team, access to state-of-the-art mapping, ablation, and device technologies, and opportunities to shape program growth within El Camino Health.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of accredited fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiologic disorders.
  • Perform electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablation and cardiac rhythm device implantation.
  • Evaluate and manage patients with atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular arrhythmias, and other complex rhythm disorders.
  • Implant and manage pacemakers, ICDs, and other cardiac rhythm management devices.
  • Provide inpatient electrophysiology consultations and hospital-based care.
  • Provide outpatient electrophysiology consultations, follow-up, and longitudinal patient management.
  • Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment strategies using contemporary, evidence-based approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with general and interventional cardiologists, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and ongoing care.
  • Participate in cardiology and electrophysiology call coverage.
  • Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and support a culture of patient safety and clinical excellence.
  • Contribute actively to the continued growth of the electrophysiology program and regional referral network.

ElectrophysiologistEl Camino Health Cardiovascular Specialists is seeking an well trained Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our growing electrophysiology program in the heart of Silicon Valley.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, established, and rapidly expanding multispecialty cardiovascular practice in one of the most desirable locations in the country. Our group includes general, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiologists, with a large and growing network of referring physicians, expanding clinical locations, and a strong regional patient base.The EP program currently includes one senior electrophysiologist, creating a unique opportunity for mentorship, professional growth, and the ability to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of the program. The successful candidate will not simply be joining an EP practice, but a broader and highly collaborative cardiovascular group with an established referral network and significant institutional support for continued growth.Our electrophysiology laboratory is exceptionally well run, supported by an outstanding and experienced team, and equipped with the latest mapping, ablation, and cardiac device technologies. Key Responsibilities

  • DEA license required
  • Strong clinical and procedural expertise in the evaluation and management of cardiac arrhythmias

  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing catheter ablation and cardiac device implantation
  • Experience managing complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias
  • Experience with pacemaker and ICD implantation and management
  • Experience with atrial fibrillation ablation and other advanced electrophysiology procedures
  • Interest in program development, innovation, quality improvement, and/or clinical education
  • Enthusiasm for helping build and expand a growing electrophysiology practice
