Job summary

Cardiac Electrophysiologist - Faculty Opportunity

Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts, anchored by Baystate Medical Center, the region’s academic medical center and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.

Baystate Regional Cardiology, a premier multidisciplinary cardiology practice, provides comprehensive cardiovascular care across electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, advanced heart failure, advanced imaging, cardio-oncology, and a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic services.

  • Academic appointment at UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate. Work closely with 23 cardiology fellows, including 2 EP fellows, in a program committed to clinical excellence, procedural growth, scholarship, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, advanced heart failure, cardiac imaging, cardiac surgery, and vascular medicine.
  • Regional impact: Help shape the future of advanced EP care for patients while contributing to the next generation of cardiologists.
  • Opportunity to serve as Medical Director of Lead Management & Implementation for those interested and qualified.
Qualifications

ABMS BE/BC in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology is required. Candidates should have a commitment to high-quality clinical care, collaboration, teaching, and program growth. Expertise in complex ablation, device implantation, lead extraction and lead management, and remote CIED monitoring is strongly valued.Regretfully we are unable to offer immigration sponsorship.

Compensation

Our compensation package consists of a base salary of between $515,000- $735,000 (based on 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications) and annual incentive bonus opportunities.
