Black Hills Heart & Vascular Institute in Rapid City, SD seeks its founding Cardiac Electrophysiologist to build and lead a ground‑up EP program in an exclusively outpatient setting.

You will establish rhythm management services for a large, underserved catchment with minimal local EP competition, enjoy autonomy, and pursue a partnership track within 2 years, including ambulatory center equity.

Qualificações

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology required.
• Experience in catheter ablation and device implantation.
• South Dakota medical licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Strong leadership skills to build and guide a program from the ground up.
• Partnership track within 2 years (including ambulatory procedure center equity).
• Access to practice-owned multi-engine aircraft.

• Perform catheter ablations (AF, SVT, VT).

• Manage the outpatient device clinic and the atrial fibrillation (AF) management program.
• Shape EP clinical protocols and patient experience from day one.
• Provide clinical support at regional outreach EP clinics.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified (BC) in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Required experience in catheter ablation and device implantation.
• South Dakota medical licensure (or eligible to obtain).
• Strong leadership skills to build and guide a program from the ground up.
