Job summary

TDK-Lambda Americas is seeking an Electronics Tester to play a crucial role in our production lifecycle by conducting both automated and manual tests. You will perform troubleshooting at the board and component levels, as well as first-level tests including Hi-Pot and ground continuity.

Overview

As an Electronics Tester, you play an essential role testing our products during various stages of the production lifecycle. Duties include automated and manual test stations, sub‑testing with troubleshooting to board and component level, as well as first‑level testing such as Hi‑Pot and ground continuity (both manual and automated).

Responsibilities

• Test using various equipment (e.g., scopes, meters, signal generators, power sources)
• Find and understand technical procedures needed for testing
• Navigate computer functions related to testing
• Read detailed schematics for troubleshooting
• Perform board and component level troubleshooting
• Maintain test equipment and test stations

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school
• Three to six years of related experience, or a combination of relevant education, training and experience
• Must pass Electrical Safety Training and Technician Electrical knowledge test
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Proficient in internet/intranet, ERP software, MS Office and other related software; ability to perform troubleshooting
• Strong mathematical skills (probability, statistical inference, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions)
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral and diagrammatic instructions

Salary

The starting hourly rate for the role, including differential, is between USD $23.17 to $32.23 per hour. The base pay is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
