Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking an Electronics Testing Technician in Lakeville, MN. The role starts onsite during training and transitions to a hybrid schedule after training.

You will support product testing, validation, and quality initiatives for electronic hardware systems, collaborating with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electronic testing, lab equipment, documentation, and troubleshooting hardware-related issues.

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on testing of electronic hardware and documentation.
• Experience in testing and validating hardware products is essential.
• Familiarity with battery-powered devices or charging technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation and verification testing on electronic products and components.
• Set up and operate laboratory equipment to collect electrical, thermal, and functional data.
• Conduct performance, reliability, and environmental testing of hardware systems.
• Record, organize, and maintain accurate test data and observations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of product issues.
• Support evaluation of engineering changes and product improvements.
• Ensure testing is completed in accordance with safety and laboratory procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams on development projects.
• Create and maintain technical reports, test summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods and lab processes.
