RJI Search in San Francisco on-site is seeking an Electronics Test Technician for a full-time, 6-month contract. You will test, validate and troubleshoot electronic and firmware-integrated hardware to support AI training and development.

Join a hands-on development lab to run electrical and firmware tests, flash firmware, and perform functional and regression testing. Expect careful documentation and opportunities to improve test procedures.

Competenze

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in an electrical, firmware, or electronics test lab.
• Experience with firmware flashing, functional testing, and regression testing.
• Ability to document findings clearly with reports, photos, and measurements.

$42/hour | Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM PST

RJI Search is seeking a sharp, methodical Electronics Test Technician to join a leading frontier AI company in San Francisco on a full-time, 6-month contract.

If you enjoy tracking a fault down to its source, whether it lives in the wiring or the firmware, this role lets you do it at the forefront of AI. In a hands-on development lab, you'll test, validate, and troubleshoot electronic and firmware-integrated hardware, and your test results and demonstrations will help train AI systems to understand real-world physical work.

What You'll Do

• Run established electrical and firmware test procedures, including power, continuity, signal, and thermal testing
• Flash firmware and perform functional and regression testing to confirm hardware and system performance
• Reproduce and troubleshoot electrical and firmware faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, data loggers, and flashing tools
• Document results, failures, and findings with clear written reports, photos, and measurements
• Review written and on-screen work instructions, catch inaccuracies, and help improve test procedures and documentation

What You Bring

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in an electrical, firmware, or electronics test lab
• Experience with firmware flashing, functional testing, and regression testing
• Confidence with multimeters, oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and data loggers
• A careful, by-the-procedure approach and the ability to document findings clearly
