Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electronics Test Technician in Andover, MA for an onsite shift with a starting wage of $32.77 per hour. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and an active DoD secret clearance or ability to obtain interim clearance before start. The position involves testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of production and development systems, with duties spanning setup, documentation, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1–2 years of specialized electronics education OR minimum of 2 years of experience in both electronics test and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering personnel with normal levels of support and supervision.
• Follow prints, sketches, schematics, specifications, process sheets, and outlines.
• Utilize diversified test and measurement equipment and support multiple setups.
• May work under environmental extremes.
• Transport, set up test equipment and test conditions per procedures.
• Isolate failures in units and test equipment to the lowest replaceable unit or component.
• Perform rework, inspection and re-inspection as required to return units to spec.
• Load and unload UUTs using cranes, hoists, and other lifting devices.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure proper housekeeping.
