Job summary

Noblis MSD in the United States is seeking an Electronics Test Lab Manager to support NAVSEA/NSWCPD testing programs. You will lead lab testing, develop procedures, and coordinate hardware/software tests to validate electronics systems in a lab environment.

The role requires hands-on work with test equipment, collaboration with software teams, and documentation of results. An active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years prior Navy electronics technician experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.
• Proficiency with panel assembly, managing material requisitions and logistics.
• Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams.
• Proficiency in the use of test and diagnostic tools associated with low voltage electronics.
• Ability to perform testing in accordance with documented test procedures.
• Ability to perform simulation testing of low voltage signals such as 4-20 ma, 0-10 VDC.
• Familiar with low voltage test equipment such as a FLUKE meter and signal simulator.

Responsibilities

• Providing installation and testing support, development of simulation equipment, and system setups/tests in a lab environment.
• Perform software and hardware testing while developing and following test procedures.
• Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters electronic bridges, loop calibrators) and hand tools in a electronics lab environment.
• Develop and improve internal procedures, templates, standards, and other documents that are clear and detailed.
• Provide operational navigation software development and testing.
• Develop and perform software tests focusing on integration, system, performance, and usability testing.
• Communicate with software developers to understand software requirements for tests.
• Document bugs and suggest product improvements to developers.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• In office work required.
