Job summary

Manpower Group in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Technical Services department supporting product testing and quality assurance. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset to help ensure high-quality electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities include automated and manual testing, documenting procedures, and collaborating with engineers to improve specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology preferred.
• Two to four years of related experience in electronic process analysis or testing.
• Knowledge of electronic components, circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals and instructions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automated and manual tests of electronic assemblies to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Document test work instructions and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance.
• Test and troubleshoot all specified products and RMAs, understanding product specifications thoroughly.
• Record test failure information in the Manex ERP system for further analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with product engineers to recommend circuitry or specification changes to improve assembly and maintenance processes.
