ManpowerGroup is seeking a local Product Engineer in the Kokomo, IN area to work with engineers, clarify PCB designs, and guide successful assembly for products or prototypes.

The role involves BOM entry, component research, reverse engineering boards, and writing assembly instructions while maintaining all engineering docs. Local candidates with a BSEET or equivalent are preferred, and leadership potential is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot at the component level on a PCB.
• Local candidate with clear written work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clarify PCB designs with customers (engineers) for successful assembly.
• Enter Bills-of-Material (BOM) and verify against drawings.
• Research alternate electronic components and specs.
• Reverse engineer circuit boards
• Write clear assembly instructions
• Maintain and update engineering documentation
• Develop new applications for electronic assemblies and systems
• Support assembly and suggest design/material alternatives
• Assist in troubleshooting designs and components
