Job summary

Silvus Technologies is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering team in West Los Angeles. You will actively participate in testing digital hardware for the StreamCaster MANET product line, with 100% onsite work Monday through Friday.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of hardware test experience, plus hands-on use of oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment. Occasional local travel to Irvine may occur.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of hardware test experience.
• Experience with test equipment and protocol interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Use electronics test equipment to evaluate system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out hardware test execution and generate status and test reports.
• Define verification matrix and internal performance specifications.
• Review test results to ensure performance meets requirements.
• Review and improve existing test strategies.
• Propose new test techniques to ensure system performance.
• Design test fixtures and calibrate equipment.
• Understand handling of sensitive circuits and equipment.
• Travel to Irvine office as needed.
