Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks an Electronics Quality Technician‑I to support StreamCaster MANET products and QA workflows at our West Los Angeles site. You will perform PCB inspection, basic rework, and test data documentation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes reading schematics, soldering proficiency, ESD‑safe practices, and adherence to IPC standards, with background checks and a US‑person requirement for federal contracts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years hands-on electronics manufacturing or an Associate’s degree in Electronics.
• Proficiency in using soldering equipment (hand irons, bottom burners, hot air).
• Familiar with multimeters and basic hand tools; comfortable reading wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and functional inspection of PCB assemblies per IPC‑J‑STD 001 standards.
• Conduct basic rework and soldering on through‑hole and surface mount components.
• Interpret schematics and assembly drawings to support inspection and rework tasks.
• Support calibration and maintenance of quality lab equipment.
• Document defects and assist in quality data collection for analysis.
