Motorola Solutions in West Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to join the Hardware Engineering team. The role focuses on testing digital hardware for the StreamCaster MANET product line and requires 100% onsite work at the company headquarters.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of hardware test experience, and hands-on skills with bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of hardware test experience.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers.
• Experience with digital interfaces including RS-232, USB 2.0, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet.
• Background check and drug test clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Use electronics test equipment to evaluate system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out hardware test execution and generate status/test reports.
• Define verification matrices and internal performance specifications.
• Review test data to ensure performance meets requirements.
• Develop and refine test strategies and fixtures.
