Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will lead and perform design, installation, integration, and maintenance of advanced security systems including IDS, ACS, and CCTV across federal, local, and commercial projects.

The role requires 8+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, with 3+ years in electronic security, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%. Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours)
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
• 3 years of the above experience focused in electronic security systems
• Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
• Must be able to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
• Installing and maintaining equipment at local and global levels per design packages.
• Programming and installation of head end equipment for access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at local and global levels.
• Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Document and track RFIs; design assist and feedback.
• Create and manage project schedules; integrate IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
