Job summary

Northrop Grumman Amherst Systems in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Electronics Technician (2nd Shift) to test, troubleshoot, and assemble RF and digital components in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will work with engineers, follow procedures, read drawings, and ensure quality while learning under a microscope and maintaining ESD and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics knowledge gained through schooling, the military or work experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow procedures and drawings.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF products including RF microelectronics, RF amplifiers, switches, and mixers.
• Test and troubleshoot digital circuit cards.
• Analyze equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions in products.
• Diagnose non-conformances using schematics and drawings.
• Perform RF tuning on microelectronics under a microscope.
• Record production data accurately in travelers and shop floor systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to modify test procedures.
• Follow safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness guidelines.
• Complete in-house workmanship criteria training for continued employment.
