Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Technician in the Amherst Systems group in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on testing and troubleshooting RF and digital circuits, with tasks performed under a microscope and across production test systems.

You will work with engineers and production teams to maintain quality, interpret schematics, and document findings. A 9/80 schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics knowledge gained through schooling, the military or work experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow procedures and drawings.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot RF products including RF Microelectronic, RF amplifiers, switches, mixers.
• Test and troubleshoot digital circuit cards.
• Analyze equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions in products and integrated test systems.
• Diagnose non-conformances using schematics, wiring diagrams and source control drawings.
• Perform RF tuning on microelectronics under a microscope.
• Record production data accurately in travelers and shop floor systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to modify test procedures.
• Follow safety, ESD, FOD and cleanliness guidelines.
