As the NDTE Electronics Technician, you will follow directions from the team leader supporting non-complex engineering tasks. The technician will assemble, troubleshoot, and operate systems using mechanical drawings and manuals. Responsibilities include specifying and procuring basic components and supplies, supporting system tests, and documenting results. NDTE Technicians will conduct troubleshooting on circuit-level control wiring, perform physical inspections, and scan processes, including proper use of the RUPS-Hybrid and EMD repair kit.

Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested)

- Unpacking and packing body armor plates

- Preparing packing materials

- Loading and unloading AIS

- Minor cosmetic repairs to body armor plates

Education & Experience: (or equivalent)

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years reading and utilizing mechanical drawings and manuals
• At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years performing electrical control and electronic troubleshooting
• At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years with circuit-level troubleshooting and control wiring

License & Certifications:

- Forklift certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills:

- Prior experience with NDTE program is a plus

Physical Demands & Working Environment:

This is a physically demanding role involving constant lifting and movement of body armor plates, frequently over 25 pounds.

Travel:

Travel is expected 95% of the time, including lengthy deployments and occasional OCONUS assignments.

Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance required

Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
