In this role, you'll provide technical support for Transformer Service, part of our US Services HUB. Reporting to the Regional Field Operation Manager, you'll leverage your hands-on experience and deep understanding of customer needs to build strong relationships and uncover new business opportunities. How You'll Make an Impact

1. Perform mechanical work in electrical substations.
2. Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify issues.
3. Service, repair, and adjust mechanical equipment.
4. Analyze information to select the best solutions for customer issues.
5. Engage in physical activities requiring dexterity and agility.
6. Use computer software to manage site visit data.
7. Operate and maintain Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment.
8. Complete vacuum oil processing logs and support site transformer testers.

Your Background

1. High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of professional work experience.
2. Possession of a Class A CDL is a plus.
3. Welding experience is a plus.
4. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 85%.
5. Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
6. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand, stoop, bend, and walk for up to 12 hours per day.
7. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
