Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks Electronics Technician Maintenance I to support the Digital Range Training System (DRTS) under the Warfighter Training Readiness Solution contract.

The ETM I ensures Army standard maintenance for DRTS non-IT equipment while maintaining communication between the Player Unit and DRTS systems during training events. You will operate range workstations, perform PMCS, assist higher-level technicians, and manage MIS work orders.

Qualifications

• Experience with range systems and maintenance.
• Able to operate and maintain non-IT DRTS equipment.
• Familiarity with AAR capabilities and live-fire training support.

Responsibilities

• Operate workstations including AAR, range target and instrumentation.
• Conduct PMCS of non-IT DRTS equipment.
• Assist Tech III with repairs of non-IT DRTS equipment.
• Apply standard operating or corrective procedures and troubleshoot with Team Lead.
• Install and Deinstall PU on military vehicles and DRTS equipment.
• Construct and install target frames and repair targets.
• Reestablish communications with down range equipment.
• Open WOs in MIS and track parts.
• Inventory and inspect equipment before/after live-fire events.
• Support cross-training plans for other W-TRS TADSS installations.
