Job summary

V2X has a requirement for a Range Technician I on the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions (W-TRS) to support the Digital Ranges Training Systems (DRTS) at Fort Stewart, GA. The Range Technician I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, such as replacing components, wiring circuits, and repairing basic electronic equipment.

This person works under close supervision, receiving technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and maintain driving privileges.
• Must be able to acquire a Government CAC.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Experience working with military units.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Collaborative work style and teamwork.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and prioritize under a demanding workload.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.
• Replace components, wire circuits, repair simple electronic equipment.
• Take test readings using common instruments (e.g., digital multi-meters, signal generators, oscilloscopes).
• Work under close supervision with supervisor or higher-level technician, with frequent accuracy checks.
