Job summary

Trideum Corporation in Fort Hood, TX seeks an Electronic Technician Maintenance I to support the WTRS contract. You will apply technical knowledge to solve routine tasks by following detailed instructions and operate TADDS devices to support warfighter readiness training on ranges. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, eligibility for CAC, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to travel up to 25% per year.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience supporting military range communications systems or equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Government CAC.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and wear PPE.
• Must read and understand manufacturers’ manuals and other technical documentation.
• Must be able to work outdoors in desert conditions, extreme heat/cold, blowing sand, and inclement weather.
• Must be self-driven and able to initiate, complete, and report tasks without constant supervision.
• Must be available to work shifts: 0500–1400, 1300–2200, 2100–0600.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical knowledge to solve routine tasks by following detailed instructions.
• Receives technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician.
• Stores, consumes, and accounts for all issued parts and materials to support range maintenance operations.
• Maintains TADDS Training Aids, Device Simulators Warfighter Readiness and Training Support (WTR-S); targets and target construction.
• Operates TADDS devices and helps facilitate warfighter readiness training on ranges.
• Safely operates company vehicle and navigates range roads using map/compass, GPS, NOD as needed, and radio systems.
• Supports quality, ISO, security, and safety training programs.
• Safeguards equipment against loss, theft, and damage.
• May be cross-trained to support other TADSS and assist on other WTRS contract equipment.
