Job summary

NASCAR is seeking a Production Technician in Concord, NC to assemble and test a range of two-way radio and listen-only products. You will work with cables, harnesses, boards, and housings, following schematics and quality standards to ensure reliable performance.

You will document production steps, troubleshoot issues, and support customizations while maintaining a safe, organized workspace and contributing to on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience.
• One year of manufacturing, assembly, electronics, or related experience preferred.
• Soldering experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient with company hardware/software, including email and basic Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, safety procedures, and build schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to use hand tools and production equipment safely.
• Willingness to learn diverse production and assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, test, and package a variety of communications products.
• Prepare cables and wiring by stripping, tinning, shielding, and heat shrinking.
• Install wires, switches, and components into product housings per specs.
• Solder wires, circuit boards, connectors, and other components.
• Use hand tools and production equipment; document work logs and production records.
• Troubleshoot and repair assembled products and finished goods.
• Support product customizations and special projects to meet customer requirements.
• Follow build schematics and quality standards to ensure consistent performance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
