Job summary

Amptek, an AMETEK Inc. company, seeks an Electronic Technician to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and related components. You will diagnose issues and perform board- or component-level repairs to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

You will work with various electronic test equipment, document processes, and maintain production schedules while contributing to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components and systems.
• Use various types of electronic testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies to the component level.
• Perform soldering and electronic repairs.
• Ensure outgoing products meet specifications and reject non-conforming items.
• Document test processes of electronic equipment.
• Adhere to production schedule and expedites units for ship dates.
• Perform other duties as assigned (maintenance, inventories, special projects, etc.).
