Job summary

Overview

Lynker Technologies, located in Stennis Space Center, MS, is a provider of innovative solutions in weather and climate science. We are seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance I (ETM I) (sea‑going) to support the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).

Responsibilities

• Perform duties at sea within harsh weather environments.
• Execute electronic, electrical, and limited mechanical assembly work at industrial facilities and remote station locations in support of operational missions and programs (Weather Buoy, DART, TAO, and C-MAN), including travel and deployment aboard U.S. Coast Guard, NOAA, university, or private vessels.
• Lead or participate in field assignments for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and de‑installation.
• Load and unload equipment and prepare shipment load lists.
• Use Microsoft Office suite for test and field‑related documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively and represent NDBC/Lynker in the field.
