Qualifications

• Minimum five years of verifiable full-time electronics technician experience in scientific, industrial, or military settings.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot circuits to component level.
• Three+ years operating calibration/diagnostic equipment (O-scope, DMM, spectrum analyzer, signal generators).
• Soldering proficiency for both through-hole and surface-mount devices.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and navigate mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning, resource coordination, and provide technical advice for electronics troubleshooting.
• Assemble, install, align, and calibrate instrumentation per DTP requirements.
• Process instrument data, convert level 1 to level 2 data, and ensure data validity.
• Provide real-time status reports and raise issues per go/no-go criteria.
• Read blueprints/diagrams to determine assembly methods and inspect parts.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve development problems.
