Job summary

Bowhead seeks an Electronics Technician III to support the Amphibious Vehicle Test Branch at Camp Pendleton, CA. The role provides lab and field instrumentation, troubleshooting, calibration, and data acquisition support for marine vehicle testing.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in electronics testing, can read schematics, and can solder both through-hole and SMT components. Proficiency with oscilloscopes, DMMs, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators is required to ensure mission

Qualifications

• Five years of verifiable electronics technician experience in scientific, industrial, or military settings.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot down to component level; hands-on with test equipment.
• Proficient in both through-hole and SMT soldering; able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning by coordinating lab resources and providing technical advice for instrumentation and data collection.
• Assemble, install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and data acquisition systems for AVTB tests.
• Verify sensor performance, gather data, and prepare reports on instrument status and test results.
