Job summary

Bowhead is seeking an Engineering Technician (Electronics) to bridge hardware engineering with basic network and digital troubleshooting on a new Battle Management System project. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 10+ years of full-time DoD engineering technician experience.
• 7+ years hands-on testing and troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Experience reading, editing, and creating electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with mechanical fabrication, cabling, electro-mechanical assembly, and platform-level systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Test, configure, and troubleshoot integrated hardware; ensure components work with network architectures.
• Perform electronic hardware testing, including GPS simulators and wiring harness verification.
• Integrate electronic payloads on manned/unmanned platforms across domains.
• Provide technical feedback to HW IPTs on design flaws, limitations, or required hardware iterations.
• Validate electrical interfaces and signal integrity; inspect and repair vendor components.
