Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role focuses on on-site installation, maintenance, and testing of electronic security, access control, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

The candidate should have a HS diploma or GED, electronics training, and 6+ years of related experience, with strong communication and safety awareness. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• HS diploma or GED and electronics training or apprenticeship.
• Experience with multiple electronic security systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems, and provides technical support.
• Enforces project safety plans and company policies.
• Participates in quality reviews of design documentation and analyzes drawings for constructability.
• Tracks commissioning activities and leads high-quality testing with owners and design teams.
• Mentors crew members and communicates effectively with project teams and customers.
• Maintains tools, materials, and documentation, and ensures safe operation at heights.
