Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to support FAA TSSC‑5 contract activities nationwide. You will perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electronic systems for NAS infrastructure, with supervision from senior staff.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals, maintaining logs, and ensuring safety, quality, and security compliance at FAA facilities; travel up to 100% within the USA is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Basic Microsoft suite and Internet, and E-mail.
• Must meet customer security requirements; background check to be performed.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.
• Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and standard procedures.
• Work safely in field, shop, and facility environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocation, and removal of electronic systems per drawings and installation standards.
• Troubleshoot systems to unit, board, or module level.
• Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Assist with field installations and site work under TSSC‑5.
• Test and calibrate equipment; document results and maintain logs.
• Follow FAA safety policies and QA procedures; collaborate with team.
