Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers, aligning with NEC standards and safety procedures. Preferred candidates hold an Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship background with 4+ years of related experience, citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver's license and may use a company vehicle.
• 4+ years of electronics installation/maintenance on multiple systems.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• HS diploma or GED required; electronics or apprenticeship background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, test systems, and provide technical support.
• Ensure safety plans and NEC compliance; communicate with project teams and customers.
• Maintain tool inventories and document field conditions; work within project timelines.
