Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks an Electronics Technician 2 to join its Security and Electronic Systems team, working on intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

The role involves installations, maintenance, testing, and client support across high-growth markets. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in electronics installation, relevant education, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours).
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security systems.
• Configure hardware and software, conduct site surveys, test systems for proper operation and provide technical support to customers.
• Communicate with project teams and customers, adhere to safety plans, and follow NEC standards.
