Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 for the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

This role requires 4+ years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation.
• Conducts site surveys and ensures grounding per NEC standards.
• Communicates with MC Dean project teams and customers.
• Maintains tool inventory and adheres to safety plans.
• Plans tasks and documents field conditions for project feedback.
