Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a skilled instrumentation technician to support calibration, automation, and data acquisition across diverse test environments. You will interpret test plans, calibrate equipment, and assist engineers with data and automation tasks.
The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with ISO 17025, and hands-on LabVIEW/MET/CAL proficiency. Collaboration and safety focus are essential in this lab-focused setting.
Works with a variety of instrumentation, automation, data acquisition, audio/visual, and electrical equipment in support of the company’s activities, as directed, by performing the following duties directly, or through subordinates when so directed.

The physical demands described here are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls. The employee is often required to stand, walk, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds. The employee must be able to distinguish colors.
The work environment consists of a number of lab areas and machine shop areas. While the Company makes every effort to reduce and eliminate all safety hazards, this type of environment does involve safety hazards which require extra care on the part of the employee. Such hazards include, but are not limited to: moderate to high pressure test gases and liquids in test systems, extreme high and low temperature test fluids and items, high electrical voltages, chemicals, and sharp objects, such as might be generated around machine tools. The noise in the work environment is moderate. Temperature extremes are regulated, but not as closely as typical indoor offices. PPE will be provided when necessary.
Salary: $25.00/hr – $34.00/hr (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package.
