Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

Responsibilities include site surveys, configuring hardware/software, and providing customer support. Mentoring junior staff and adhering to NEC and safety standards are expected as part of a dynamic, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Performs site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation.
• Provides technical support to customers and communicates with project teams.
• Mentors and trains junior team members in installation techniques, codes, standards and best practices.
