Job summary

Pace Bus in Illinois is seeking an Electronics Technician I under the supervision of the Supervisor, Technical Services, to diagnose, calibrate, repair and overhaul electronic and electro-mechanical equipment used in Pace’s fleet.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least 3 years in electro-mechanics with logic and digital systems, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is an on-site, safety-sensitive role with no hybrid or remote work.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalency.
• Must have at least 3 years' experience in electro-mechanics including logic systems, digital circuitry, and electro-mechanical devices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, calibrate, repair, and overhaul electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and logic systems.
• Maintain all records and forms in compliance with regulations and Pace requirements.
• Operate special test equipment and support maintenance tasks including vehicle operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designate.
