Job summary

Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona is seeking an Electronic Technician to repair and maintain district electronic systems and to install electronic systems for safe, uninterrupted service. Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Formal education in electronics field.
• Must obtain NICET certification within 6 months of hire, training and exam fee to be provided by the district.
• Minimum two years’ experience in the electronics repair or related field; excellent attendance record.
• Working knowledge and experience of fire alarm, intercom, sound and video systems; proficiency with computer systems.
• Knowledge and experience with electronic devices and circuitry; ability to diagnose component failure and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair district electronic communication systems (i.e. fire alarm, intercom, video, sound, and other related systems)
• Coordinate with appropriate district personnel and contractor to develop project specifications and follow up on contractor progress
• Process documentation and other paperwork associated with job requirements in a timely manner
• Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
