Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. is seeking Electronics Technician Maintenance II to support U.S. Navy FRCNW ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System maintenance at NAS Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, WA.

The role involves troubleshooting, testing, inspection, and documentation of ALQ-99 TJS components and assemblies, with CDI/2M billets possible after qualification. The position requires an Active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain CAC and base access.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship; ability to maintain Secret eligibility, obtain CAC, and base access requirements.
• Electronics maintenance, avionics, RF, electronic warfare, test equipment, depot/I-Level maintenance, or comparable technical experience.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance procedures and translate them into compliant actions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain site-required training and qualifications (ALQ-99/ECASS, CDI or 2M if assigned).
• Ability to complete or maintain required training as directed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to moderately complex troubleshooting, fault isolation, component replacement, wiring, testing, inspection, and maintenance actions on ALQ-99 TJS components and assemblies.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and work instructions to plan work and select tools.
• Use common and specialized test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, generators, testers).
• Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, preservation/de-preservation, and ready-for-issue production objectives.
• Perform corrosion prevention/treatment incidental to maintenance actions.
• Document maintenance actions in required logs and electronic systems with accuracy and traceability.
• Interface with Government tool room to issue/receive tools and maintain accountability.
